En el corazón musical de La Coruña nace una nueva banda fruto de la fusión del jazz y la electrónica: SILENT DJAZZ. Juegan en la liga del Jazz Electrónico Fusión, bajo la influencia de gente como Herbie Hancock, Jamie Cullum , Anita Ward, The Crusaders…
Este proyecto musical surge de la inquietud de Ino, dj y productor gallego fundador de House Café Music, y Director Artístico de MOVE Music & Sound. Después de una década girando discos por todo el mundo (Nueva York, Los Ángeles, Moscú, Frankfurt, Barcelona, Madrid… es el momento de dar un paso más desenvolviendo su lado musical más maduro al lado de el resto de compañeros de esta nueva aventura jazzística en forma de banda.
Gente como el pianista Sergio Delgado, nacido en Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, y un habitual en las producciones de Ino. Tras actuaciones en Cuba y Galicia (Becklar Jazz Quartet, Los Zafiros) en acción tiene un proyecto con sonido acid-jazz llamado “VenueConnection”, con el que ya han sacado su disco “Madrid Boogie”. Actualmente es el director musical de Calixto Oviedo Trio, banda con la que ha actuado en importantes clubs de jazz de Europa.
La voz de *SILENT DJAZ*Z sonará a cargo de Angeles Dorrio, voz solista de la “Big Band Presto Vivace” y “Vocal Secrets”, así como también está al frente de “VenueConnection” junto a Sergio Delgado. Son numerosas sus actuaciones como vocalista de jazz y soul en diferentes formaciones (Beklar Jazz Quartet, Doble Esencia Más que Jazz”). Sin duda es una voz que no pasa desapercibida, de esas que se escuchan una vez y difícilmente cuesta olvidar.
A la batería Miguel Cabana, un joven coruñés licenciado con martricula de honor en la Guildhall School Music and Drama de Londres. Ha compartido escenario con músicos como Scott Stroman, Brian Trainor, John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler, Cennet Jönson, Fredd Thelonious Baker, Carlos Averhoff Jr., etc… Actualmente tiene diferentes proyectos artísticos: José Luis Evangelista Cuarteto, Carmen Rey Grupo, Javier Constenla Trío, +Q Jazz y Monkillos.
Y cerrando el reparto de lo que promete ser un estreno de película, Marcelino Galán, un guitarrista de jazz coruñés , que estudió en el Berklee College of Music (Boston)...ha estudiado ,entre otros, con Andy Rossetti,J.L Gamez, Sean Levitt, Kurt Rosenwinkel,Michael L.Goodrick, Jon Damian, Jack Pezzanelli&x2026;Marcelino tiene ya una intensa colección musical con producciones como: Marcelino Galán Quartet-Roho (singra 2003) Xacobe Martinez Antelo Quinteto-Isto e Jazz (Freecode2006) Cafe de La Noche (SoulPlanetRecordings-2005) Neo Tango (Sunsweeptmusic-2005) The Tango Club (Lola..s World 2005) House & Art (Housecafemusic-2006), Zinco (FreeCode 2008) y Terela Gradin & Manuel Gutierrez- Pascala (FreeCode 2008).

From the heart of the music scene in La Coruna, Spain comes a multi-faceted band integrating jazz, soul and electronica. . . . Silent Djazz.
They’re in there own league of electric-jazz fusion under the heavy influences of artists such as Herbie Hancock, The Crusaders, Anita Ward, Jamie Cullum and many others.
This musical project was formed by Ino: DJ, producer and founder of one of Spain’s best known electronic dance music labels, House Cafe Music, as well as the Artistic Director of MOVE Music & Sound Festival. After a decade of playing records and collecting music that has inspired him from all over the world, Ino felt it was time to progress, take a bigger step and move away from his one-man electronic venture. Mainly influenced by worldly jazz, Ino transformed his love for myriad types of music into the form of a versatile band.
Silent DJazz is made up of some of the most talented and diverse musicians from La Coruna. One is the pianist Sergio Delgado, born in Ciego de Ávila, Cuba, and habitually in Ino’s studio productions. Sergio has performed with local famed Cuban and Galician bands like Becklar Quartet Jazz and The Sapphires. In addition to his past projects, Sergio currently has a new group with an acid-jazz feel named “VenueConnection”. Their first album entitled “Madrid Boogie” is already out on the market. Sergio is also the musical director of Calixto Oviedo Trio band which is a big act that has shown to be of major importance in the European Jazz scene.
The name behind the soulful voice of Silent Djazz is the talented Angeles Dorrio. He is also the voice of “Big Quick Band Vivace” and “Secrets Vowel”, as well as the front man of “VenueConnection” next to Sergio Delgado. His incredible voice has been a part of various jazz and soul groups such as “Beklar Quartet Jazz” and “Double Essence More than Jazz”. Without a doubt it is a voice that does not go unnoticed. It will be very hard for you to forget the voice of Angeles Dorrio.
Playing percussion is Miguel Cabana, a young Drummer from La Coruna. He graduated with top honors from the Guildhall School Music and Drama of London and has shared the stage with well-known musicians like Scott Stroman, Brian Trainor, John Taylor, Kenny Wheeler, Cennet Jönson, Fredd Thelonious Baker, Carlos Averhoff Jr., etc. At the moment, Miguel has different artistic projects in the works with Jose Luis, Evangelista Quartet, Carmen King Group, Javier Constenla Trio, Q Jazz and Monkillos.
Last but definitely not least is Marcelino Galan, a well-known jazz guitarist from La Coruna, whose higher education comes from the Berklee College of Music in Boston. He has studied with great artists such as Andy Rossetti, J.L. Gamez, Sean Levitt, Kurt Rosenwinkle, Michael L. Goodrick, Jon Damian, Jack Pezzanelli.
